With all of that said I really enjoy homemade Chicken soup. I'm going to show you how to jar up your very own Chicken soup.
Start by roasting your chicken in the oven for 2 hours in a 350 degree oven. Separate the chicken from the bone after it has cooled. Put your chicken in a large stock pot and separate the fat from the gravy by using a gravy separator or by placing your stock in the fridge and letting the fat harden and skimming it off the top. The gravy separator is way faster!!
Add your stock, onions, carrots, celery, potatoes and seasonings. Bring to a boil and ladel into your jars.
Make sure the rims of your jars are wiped clean before you put the lids on. Place your jars in a pressure canner for 90 minutes. And that's it! Just add the noodles when you heat it up!
